| Day 1 Meet at Villahermosa Airport and travel to Palenque;
overnight at Hotel Ciudad Real; welcome dinner Day 2 Tour Palenque Archeological Site; boat excursion on Catazaja Lagoon Day 3 Travel to Frontera Corozal along the Usumacinta River by boat to Yaxchilan Archeological Site; overnight at jungle lodge near Bonampak Day 4 Visit Bonampak Archeological site; return to Palenque and Hotel Ciudad Real Day 5 Travel to Cascada Agua Azul; lunch at Ocosingo; visit Tonina Archeological Site; then on to San Cristobal de Las Casas and Hotel Plaza Magnolias Day 6 Visit typical Mayan Indian villages of San Juan Chamula and San Lorenzo Zinacantan; afternoon free Day 7 Visit Laguanas de Montebello and Chinkultik Archeological Site. Time for shopping at San Cristobal Day 8 Travel to Chiapas de Corzo; board boats for visit to Sumidero Canyon; travel to Tuxtla Gutierrez and Hotel Flamboyant Holiday Inn; farewell dinner at local restaurant Day 9 Transfer to airport |
